Last week I was delighted to have it pointed out to me by Scott Southey of Southcart Books in Walsall that my recent press release on behalf of the group of local and regional authors that penned Southcart Tales had finally reached the front page, no less, of one our main local newspapers – the Walsall Advertiser.
As I don’t usually receive the paper at home, it’s taken me a few days to lay hands on a copy, but here is the piece at last – just click on the image above to get an enlarged version. Not too shabby, if I do say so myself.
The accompanying photo was kindly taken for us by Craig Beas, who also created the cover image design for Southcart Tales, which is a multi-genre anthology penned by the Southcart Storytellers, a mad bunch (and I include myself in that) who wanted to support the bookstore that has done so much to support them in the past two years.
If you’re interested in buying the book in paperback or Kindle format, profits from which go to support Southcart Books in Lower Hall Lane, Walsall, the only independent bookshop in the Walsall area, I invite you to check it out on Amazon by clicking this link – cheers. If you do buy either version, please leave a review, it’s a big help!
Note that the paperback book is also available from the shop, and that the authors will be gathering there to read and sign books at a special launch event on Saturday 1st October, of which more in my next post!
